All CAS faculty/staff email will be migrated to Spartan Mail (Microsoft Outlook/Campus Exchange) between June and October 2016. The ComArtSci Technology Office has been working closely with MSU IT as part of a university-wide initiative to retire the current legacy email system. We have come up with a plan to transition all CAS faculty and staff to Microsoft Exchange based email servers. click here for more information.
The deadline to submit software requests for the CAS computer labs is July 22, 2016. If you have specific software requests for Fall Semester 2016, they must be submitted to the ComArtSci Technology Office before July 22 to ensure that the software is available for Fall semester. To make a request, please submit a tech request.
Our office has 2016 SPSS licenses available for faculty at no cost. We are also happy to work with departments to purchase home use licenses for students. Click here for more information or submit a tech request and a technician will contact you to coordinate the update.
The ComArtSci Technology Office has made several improvements to their web presence recently. One helpful change is that faculty, staff and students can now see the status of their ticket as it is being worked on or add additional information themselves. click here for more information.
